Keith Urban has released his
new single song, “Cop Car,” to state radio. The track follows up his previous
two Number One hits, “Little Bit of Everything” & “We Were Us,” and was written
by Zach Crowell, Matt Jenkins & Sam Hunt. After hearing the song, Keith
Urban knew he had to proof it before anybody else could cut it. Keith Urban
said; it is a wonderful song about a guy & girl, falling in love in the
back of a cop car while they are getting under arrest. I’d never heard a track
written from this viewpoint previous to. However it was so visual, it was such
a cinematic, visual track & God, I really love this song soooo much. I love
the tune, the lyric of course & I recognize this guy, and I know this wild
girl in the song as well. After a few downtimes to rejoice the holidays with
his family, Keith Urban will kick off the next leg of his Light the Fuse travel
around 9 January, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He will as well return as a
judge on ‘American Idol’ when the new period premieres over 2 nights
January 15 & 16.
